The Cat's Out of the Bag

I LOVE babies! My favorite part? Their little bitty soft head. I just love petting it. I know, that's strange. Sorry 'bout it.

No, I'm not pregnant..continue reading.

As I've mentioned before, my best friend Taylor just had a baby. She lives in Tennessee though, 9 hours away..not close enough for weekly or even monthly cuddles with my Tucker man.

I was working out with my sister-in-law a month and a half ago, and I told her we should do abs, considering we had focused mainly on arms and legs for a while. She paused and then mentioned I could do abs while she did something else. I just looked at her and asked if there was a reason she didn't want to do abs. She shrugged and said, "Nothing has been confirmed."

So- I had to keep that secret for a couple of weeks, long enough for her to go to the doctor and come up with a cute plan to tell her parents. I was so excited, and I couldn't tell anyone. I didn't even tell Tye- huge feat. We (the entire family) went to dinner Friday, March 29 for Desiree's birthday. At that point, I was still the only person in the know (other than Travis, her husband, of course). We made it through dinner, and she asked if I could tell she was pregnant in the shirt she was wearing. I could, but I didn't think others would be able to. After she told the family though (a week or two later), her grandma mentioned that she had noticed. Too funny.

I love the way they decided to tell Greg and Beth (Tye and Desiree's parents). Desiree bought Millie a "big sister" book, and she had Millie take it into the living room for them to read to her. It was so much fun to be in on the surprise.

The next day, we took some time to get some family pictures before the new baby comes. I snapped a few for the facebook reveal as well.

She loves her Nana.

I made Tye pose for me to check the light.

Please take note of Millie's face in the above photo.

Love this little girl.

She really is excited. I promise.

Millie is so excited to meet her "little sister." We don't know what she will do if it is a little brother... She claims she will share her puzzles and teach her brother or sister so many different things. Only time will tell. No matter what, I can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew in the fall!!!
